Line LoadList form

The Line LoadList form enables you to make changes to the existing unit attributes. In the Line LoadList form, when you enter details for a Loadlist record that already exists, N4 automatically fills in the information saved in the existing record.

To add or edit a loadlist entity

  1. From the Action drop-down list, select the EDI action code for the load list record. The EDI action codes Original and Update are the same with respect to posting the load list records.

  1. From the Vessel Visit lookup field, select the vessel visit of the load list unit.

  2. From the Complex drop-down list, select the complex where you receive the load list.

  3. In the Unit Nbr field, enter the unit number that identifies the unit.

  4. From the Equipment Type lookup field, select the equipment type code of the unit.

  5. From the Category drop-down list, select the unit category such as the Export, Import, Transship, Domestic, Storage and Through.

  6. From the Freight Kind drop-down list, select the freight kind of the equipment.

  1. From the Port of Discharge lookup field, select the first port at which the container is discharged. N4 displays only the outbound vessel visit's ports in the Port of Discharge lookup field.

The following table lists the optional fields in the Line LoadList form:

Description

Line Operator

Select the Line Operator who sends the load list to the Terminal operator.

The lookup field displays the line operators defined at the current scope level.

Sender Id

Enter the Sender code of the Line Operator who sends the load list.

Order Number

Enter the booking number for the vessel visit.

Port of Load

Select the port from where the container is loaded onto a vessel.

Commodity Code

Select the commodity code for the container.

Gross weight

Enter the weight of the container including its cargo, in kilograms.

Enter a value followed by one of the supported units: g, kg, lb, quintals, long-ton, short-ton, tone. If you do not specify the unit, N4 assumes kg as the unit.

Consignee

Select the consignee for the container.

Hazards

Click on the Add Hazard button to record new hazardous information for a container or edit existing hazardous information.

Container Operator

Select the container operator who sends the load list.

Special Stow

Select the special stow code for the container.

The look-up field displays the codes referring to the special stow requirements for a container.

Seal Number 1

Enter the first container seal number.

Seal Number 2

Enter the second container seal number.

Seal Number 3

Enter the third container seal number.

Seal Number 4

Enter the fourth container seal number.

Temp. Required (C)

Enter the temperature required for a reefer container.

Enter a value followed by one of the supported units: C,F. If you do not specify the unit, N4 assumes C.

Temp Min (C)

Enter the lowest temperature allowed for a reefer.

Enter a value followed by one of the supported units: C,F. If you do not specify the unit, N4 assumes C.

Temp. Max (C)

Enter the highest temperature allowed for a reefer.

Enter a value followed by one of the supported units: C,F. If you do not specify the unit, N4 assumes C.

Overlong Back (cm)

Enter the dimensions by which the container is out-of-gauge at the back.

Overlong Front (cm)

Enter the dimensions by which the container is out-of-gauge in the front.

Overwide Left (cm)

Enter the dimensions by which the container is out-of-gauge on the left side.

Overwide Right (cm)

Enter the dimensions by which the container is out-of-gauge on the right side.

Overheight (cm)

Enter the dimensions by which the container is out-of-gauge at the top.
